Description
TONIGHT: A handful of showers and a stray storm are possible through the evening for our counties along and east of I-75. After midnight, rain eases and clouds work to clear heading into the morning on Sunday. Overnight temperatures dip into the low 60s.
SUNDAY: Cooler air moves in as post-tropical cyclone Isaias moves north and east of South Georgia. Cooler and drier air will move in through the day, so a nice breeze is expected. Partly cloudy skies may stick around for our far northern counties, but most locations look fairly sunny. High temperatures drop to the low 80s and upper 70s.
MONDAY - THURSDAY: High pressure starts moving in from the southwest as an upper-level ridge lifts north. Afternoon temperatures increase into the upper 80s with low humidity and sunny skies. Overnight lows drop into the low 60s.
FRIDAY - NEXT WEEKEND: Cold front starts approaching the southeast. Rain chances look pretty low, with most models suggesting a dry frontal passage over the weekend. Models also suggest a cool down into the weekend, but that is a trend that will be monitored.
