ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Advance voting for the Albany Ward 2 election starts Tuesday, May 27.

According to a post by Dougherty County, advance voting will start on Tuesday, May 27, at the Riverfront Resource Center, at 125 Pine Avenue.

Polls will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through June 13. Saturday voting will be on May 31 and June 7 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The last day to submit an absentee ballot application to the Elections Office is June 6.

The options for returning voted absentee ballots can be turned in via:

• APS, FedEx, and hand delivery: Dougherty County Voter Registration & Elections, 222 Pine Avenue, Second Floor, Suite 220
• Dougherty County Voter Registration & Elections, P.O. Box 1827

Election day is June 17.
