JOHNS CREEK, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A $75,000 settlement has been reached after Perry Greene, the former husband of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, was caught on camera in Alpharetta yelling at a group of young Muslim women.
The three women were praying in the parking lot at the Avalon in Alpharetta when Greene drove up to them in a Tesla Cybertruck.
A viral video showed Greene yelling at them to “go back to your country” and saying “we don’t want you worshipping here.”

The attorneys for the women say they have reached a monetary settlement with Perry Greene without having to officially file a lawsuit.Ali Awad is managing attorney with CEO Lawyer, representing the women.
He says the settlement included a $25,000 payment per minute that Greene was filmed during the harassment incident.
All $75,000 will be donated to the Masjid Jafar and Al-Rahmah Community Center in Johns Creek.
Nesrine is one of the three women, who spoke during a news conference Monday morning.
“We do not care about money or media attention,” she said. “We care about safety, security and equality.”

Their lawyer said the deciding factor not to sue came because Greene met the demands of the women, for him to be educated about the Islam religion and to issue an apology.
“I think this is a step in the right direction to show, even in what many would call a very nasty video,” he said.
“Muslims responded with grace, and I think that’s the balance that must be struck. In times of divisiveness and hate, someone has to step forward and extend the olive branch of peace.”
Alpharetta Police have reviewed the viral video of Greene. Determining that there was no crime committed and no criminal charges will be filed.
