ATLANTA, Ga. (WALB) - Ryan Ramos, a 5-year-old who gained social media attention in 2025 for having a Jimmy Carter-themed birthday party, visited the Carter Center on Monday, March 30.

According to the Carter Center, Ramos and his family made an 11-hour road trip from their home in New Jersey to visit the center, which he calls “Jimmy Carter World.”

During the visit, the Carter Center said Ramos sat behind former President Jimmy Carter’s desk, shook hands with members of the Carter family, and viewed photographs and artifacts. He left with merchandise from the center.

His mother, Lauren, asked him, “How are we going to be like Jimmy Carter?”

The Carter Center said he responded saying, “be kind”.
