ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The 4C Academy robotics team has done it again!
The Commodores, Team 6919 started the season off winning a blue banner in Dalton for the Shaw Industries first ever robotics qualifier.
According to the school’s Facebook post, the team experienced some technical challenges in the first round of the playoffs, but they made the necessary repairs and advanced from the lower bracket, to the championship round, and secured the win.
The robotics team at 4C Academy is always looking for support, so if you don’t have any plans March 27th and 28th, join them at the Albany Civic Center.
The event is free and open to the public. There is a clear bag policy at the Albany Civic Center.
The 4C Academy’s mission is to produce college and career ready graduates who are prepared to compete and succeed in the real world. These students in particular are learning how to compete and succeed by building a large robot as high schoolers.
Each year the robotics team builds a new robot to fit the theme of the year.
