PELHAM, Ga. (WALB) — Two men were arrested and charged with felony murder in connection to a January double homicide, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) announced Wednesday, April 8.

The men are Scott Foster, 27, and Dajarion Ward, 19, according to the GBI. Officials said the charges are in connection with the deaths of Desmond Daniels and Tobias McIntyre.

32-year-old Tobias McIntyre and 24-year-old Desmond Daniels were found dead on Sunday, Jan. 18 in different locations but within close proximity to each other, officials said.

The GBI later confirmed that both men had been shot.

Several weeks after Daniels’ and McIntyre’s deaths, the GBI and Pelham Police Department reportedly got arrest warrants for Foster and Ward on April 7.

The GBI said Foster was already in custody at the Thomas County Jail on other charges. Ward was arrested and taken to the Mitchell County Jail, according to the GBI.

The men are charged with the following, the GBI said:

Scott Foster

• Felony murder (two counts)
• Aggravated assault (two counts)
• Armed robbery
• Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime (two counts)
• Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

Dajarion Ward

• Felony murder (two counts)
• Aggravated assault (two counts)
• Armed robbery

The GBI said this investigation is active and ongoing.
