Description
ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A 12-year-old boy who hadn’t been seen since leaving for school on Friday morning has been found, South Fulton police confirmed Saturday afternoon.
According to police, the child — whose name wasn’t released — didn’t board the bus and never made it to school.
“This is a situation that hits home for any parent. A child is out there, and his family is worried,” the police department said on Saturday morning. “We want him to know: you are not in trouble, we just want to make sure you’re safe.”
After he was found, officers thanked the community for spreading the word. They said the child is safe, but didn’t comment on how he went missing.
