COFFEE COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) — In a world that changes by the minute, Rodella Robinson continues to stand as a living testimony of faith, strength and resilience.

Robinson, a Coffee County woman, celebrated her 107th birthday Wednesday, May 27, surrounded by loved ones at a birthday celebration in her honor.

Robinson said the greatest gift is not the number of years she has lived—It is the faith she said sustained her through every season of life.

“She’s the epitome of a strong woman,” family members shared as Robinson reflected on a lifetime filled with generations of memories, lessons and unwavering belief in God.

Among the many stories she carries, Robinson said her favorite goes back to when she was just 7 years old—the moment she first knew who God was.

Since then, she said her relationship with God has never left her.

Robinson shared memories of hearing God’s voice for the first time and spoke about the days when families and church members would spend hours praying together—known as “tarrying.”

Those moments, she said, still carry her today.

Robinson said that the grace of God is the reason she is still here at 107 years old.

“God has carried me a long way,” Robinson said.

She also emphasized the importance of family, saying each day she holds onto God’s promises and believes He will continue to take care of her.

When asked about her favorite Bible scripture, Robinson smiled and said every scripture is her favorite.

At 107 years old, Robinson said she remains in her right mind because of God—a faith she said has never failed her through more than a century of life.

Her story is not only one of longevity, but of legacy—a reminder of faith, perseverance and the power of holding on to hope through every generation.
