THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WCTV) - A woman was sentenced to life in prison with parole Thursday morning for poisoning her husband in 2021 in Thomas County, according to a Thomas County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson.
Torrii Fedrick was found guilty Thursday of malice murder, aggravated assault and felony murder after a four-day trial in connection to Phillip Fedrick’s death in September 2021, Sheriff Tim Watkins confirmed in a phone call late Thursday morning.

The guilty verdict comes after TCSO officials were called by the coroner’s office back in 2021 when Phillip Fedrick died.
An autopsy revealed that ethylene glycol was found in his system, Watkins told WCTV in November 2022. He said ethylene glycol is commonly found in antifreeze and other things such as brake fluid.
Torrii Fedrick was booked into Thomas County Jail in November 2022 after a 14-month investigation into her husband’s death.
