ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Albany police are investigating a violent fight that reportedly left one woman seriously injured earlier this month.
According to authorities, the incident happened April 18 in the 2200 block of Gillionville Road, where officers responded to an aggravated battery call involving two women.
Investigators say 20-year-old Macai Walker is accused of biting off the victim’s right ear during the altercation. Police say video footage confirmed a physical confrontation took place and showed bystanders stepping in to break up the fight.
The victim was taken to Phoebe for medical treatment. Walker was transported to law enforcement officials and currently faces an affray charge, with additional charges pending.
