Description
ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - WebstaurantStore turned classroom success into full-time careers for six Dougherty County seniors.
The Albany distribution center hosted its first work-based learning signing day, celebrating students who split their spring between school and a paid shift on the warehouse floor.
Out of 25 applicants, 13 were accepted into the program. Six earned permanent full-time job offers with competitive pay, health benefits, four weeks of paid time off, and a 401K match.
The company says it’s proof that local talent can launch a long-term career right out of high school.
