Description
TODAY: A line of showers, perhaps with imbedded thunder, work through north to south late this afternoon into the evening. Nothing severe is expected. Additional rainfall this afternoon will be scattered (30-40% chance), likely around or less than 1/4″ of an inch.
THURSDAY- FRIDAY: Drier and a touch cooler tomorrow starting in the mid-upper 40s and then in the upper 60s with tons of sun. The coldest morning comes on Friday, bottoming out in the upper 30s. We rebound to the perfect lower 70s.
WEEKEND: We continue warming slightly into Valentine’s Day with clouds building. Rain arrives Sunday with thunderstorms too ahead of a cold front. Rain totals over 1″, along with a low-end severe threat, are expected. We will know more about specific timings and impacts later this work week, keep with us for more updates.
NEXT WEEK: There will not be much of a cool down behind the front. As a matter of fact, it will only get warmer next week. There’s a good chance we reach 80 degrees by late-week, for the 1st time since the second weekend of January.
