ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Very little rain came across SGA on Wednesday. The drier weather will be short-lived as rain and storms return Thursday then again on Friday. The unsettled weather pattern remains until a cold front slides through ushering in drier air late Friday.
Expect showers and isolated strong-severe storms Thursday afternoon into early evening. Storms may produce damaging wind gusts, hail, frequent lightning and flash flooding. Then on Friday more rain and storms which will be the final round of active weather. Friday brings a Slight Risk for strong-severe storms with an added threat of an isolated tornado.
We’ll enter and continue through the weekend on a very dry note. Plan to enjoy plenty of sunshine, low humidity and pleasantly warm mid-upper 80s.
The dry conditions extends with seasonably warm low 90s into midweek.
