LEE COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO), there was an accident at US-19 North and Pinewood Road Tuesday, April 28.

There were two vehicles involved in the crash, according to the LCSO Chief Deputy, Eddie Burges.

The sheriff’s office posted a photo of a red truck that was damaged in the accident. It is unclear what other vehicle was involved.

Burges said that US-19 is impacted by the accident, and he urged drivers to use caution when traveling through the area.

The incident has been turned over to the Georgia State Patrol (GSP), according to Burges.
