SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - A trial date has been set for at least one of the men accused of posing as an Amazon worker, before he and another man forced their way inside of a Savannah home and beat and robbed the homeowner back in January.

You may remember this viral video of the crime happening, two men posed as Amazon workers, even bringing a box with a weapon inside, before pushing past the homeowner and beating the man severely.
The two men only made off with $60.
27-year-old Tyrone Anthony and 26-year-old Kelvin Waye were both arrested for this crime.

A court hearing revealed the two men grew up together at Kayton Homes and have been known associates for quite some time, officers in court also revealed that Anthony worked for Henry Plumbing and had done plumbing work at the victim’s home, just five days before this crime.
Anthony was indicted by a grand jury for these charges on May 7th, Waye waived his preliminary hearing back in April.
Now according to court records, Anthony is set to plead guilty or not guilty before a judge in the coming months.
Then a jury trial is scheduled for late September. Court records do not show when Waye will be in court next.
