DOUGLAS, Ga. (WALB) - A semi-truck overturned Thursday morning in Douglas, causing traffic delays near the intersection of Thompson Drive and the bypass.

According to Douglas Right Now, the tractor-trailer overturned while attempting to make a left turn from Thompson Drive onto the bypass.

The driver was not injured in the incident and first responders are at the scene.

Traffic is currently moving through the area, although drivers should expect slower conditions as crews work to clear the overturned truck.
