TIFT COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - Fred Warren “Buck” Rigdon, Jr., 76, of Tifton, passed away Monday, May 12, 2025, at Harmony at Savannah.

A memorial service honoring Mr. Rigdon’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Saint Anne’s Episcopal Church. He will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.

Mr. Rigdon most recently served as County Commissioner for District 5 in Tift County. His dedication to public service and the community will be remembered by many.
