THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WCTV) - A person suspected of breaking into cars was foiled by a trail of his own snowy footprints last Wednesday, according to a press release from the Thomasville Police Department.
The vehicle break-ins allegedly began around midnight on January 22 at the 400 block of Glenwood Drive, TPD said.
“While Winter Snow Storm Enzo blanketed the ground with snow, a subject began to creep around the neighborhoods looking for unsecured vehicles,” the press release said.

After people discovered the break-ins the following morning, police followed a “single set of footprints embedded in the snow going from house to house, vehicle to vehicle,” according to TPD.
Police followed the footprints to a house where “the footprints were seen leaving and then returning,” officials said.
A juvenile suspect was arrested and will face “numerous entering auto charges,” police said. The incident is still under investigation and more charges are pending, according to the TPD press release.
