FRIDAY: Temperatures will climb into the the low to mid 90s this afternoon before storms halt the increase. Areas who may dodge the storms can be a few degrees hotter. Heat indices will range between 105-110 with Heat Advisories in effect from 11am-8pm in our southern counties. A Marginal Risk for severe weather is in place for all of South Georgia today as storms can bring gusty winds, isolated flash flooding and frequent lightning.

SATURDAY: Temperatures begin in the low to middle 70s but lots of sunshine dominates the first half of the day. Afternoon highs will climb in the low to mid 90s with a few storms helping to cool some off. Main threats are gusty winds and frequent lightning. Heat indices will remain lower near 105.

SUNDAY: A cold front from the north enters and sets in, allowing for drier air to make the afternoon highs feel more tolerable. Highs will be in the mid to upper 90s. Drier air will make it difficult for any showers to form.

EARLY WEEK: Mornings will start pleasant in the upper 60s to lower 70s as a nice fall tease. Afternoon highs will climb back in the low to mid 90s but lower humidity will make feel like temperatures near 100.
