CAIRO, Ga. (WALB) - The city of Cairo announced a temporary water outage happening on Wednesday night.

According to the city, the water will be out for a few hours starting at 10 p.m. between Broad St to 4th St NW and 3rd Ave to 7th Ave NW.

The city cited a hydrant replacement as the reason for the outage.

The city said not all customers will be affected, but many in the area would experience the temporary outage.
