BEN HILL COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - The Ben Hill County Sheriff’s office released a statement on their Facebook page regarding incidents of entering autos in the Northeast side of Ben Hill County.

On Wednesday, Jan. 14, the Uniform Division of Patrol Deputies responded to multiple reports of entering autos on the Northeast side of Ben Hill County. Officials say that Special Operations Investigators were contacted to further the investigation.

Investigators and Patrol Deputies were able to track some of the stolen items to a residence inside the city limits of Fitzgerald.

Officials say that from there they were able to recover numerous stolen items and arrest one 19-year-old in connection with these entering auto theft incidents.
