Description
ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Community leaders gathered together to teach young men important life skills like networking and even tying a necktie at the annual “Ties That Bind” event.
The event gives kids the opportunity to learn and talk with role models in the community. Several law enforcement officers from around South Georgia were in attendance along with WALB’s own Sports Director Aaron Meauxs!

“Ties That Bind” is intended to help young men learn skills for their future endeavors.
Phoebe Sumter gave a special thank you to the keynote speaker of the event in Americus – Sumter County Sheriff Eric Bryant. They said Bryant gave a “inspiring message on integrity, accountability, and striving to do what’s right.”
