Description
BEN HILL COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) — A side-by-side versus SUV crash on Wednesday, April 8, in Ben Hill County sent three people—two teenagers and a 64-year-old woman—to the hospital for treatment, according to the Georgia State Patrol (GSP). The two teens were reportedly life-flighted after the crash.
GSP said a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl were riding a side-by-side northbound on Sturgeon Creek Church Road when they failed to stop at a stop sign. A Ford Explorer was traveling west on State Route 206 and hit the side-by-side in the intersection, GSP said.
Troopers said neither of the teens on the side-by-side wasK wearing a seatbelt, and both were ejected.
They were both taken from the scene by AirVac for treatment, GSP said.
GSP said the driver of the SUV, a 64-year-old woman, was transported by Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to a local hospital for treatment.
The crash reportedly happened at about 7 p.m. on Wednesday. The conditions of three people involved are unknown at this time.
