ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - While most remained dry on Thursday, a few received heavy rain with amounts of 0.50″ to 2.5″. Slow moving strong storms dumped the hefty rain in a swath from Mitchell to Berrien County. Isolated showers for others while most remained dry.
Next round of scattered showers and isolated strong storms move in Friday afternoon and evening. SPC maintains a Marginal Risk for a few strong storms with damaging wind gusts, hail and heavy rain.

The low finally pushes away late Tuesday ending the long wet pattern. High pressure takes over the later half of the week with drier and warmer conditions returning.
