LA COUNTY, Calif. (FOX26) — A registered sex offender was arrested after being caught on camera sniffing a woman’s rear end at a Walmart in LA County.

The Burbank Police Department says officers were first called out to a Nordstrom Rack on July 22 for reports of a suspicious man loitering in the woman’s department.

When officers arrived at the store, they were told that the man had already left.

They searched the area and found the man at a nearby Walmart.

Surveillance video was used to watch the man, who was seen following a woman, crouching behind her, and sniffing her buttocks.

Officers immediately detained the man and identified him as 38-year-old Calese Carron Crowder of Glendale.

He was found to be a registered sex offender and currently on parole.

He has a history of similar lewd acts in both Glendale and Burbank going back to 2021.

The Burbank City Attorney’s Office has filed one count of loitering with intent to commit a crime against Crowder.

Crowder is currently in jail with a $100,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on August 1.
