(Gray News) – The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has recalled nearly 40,000 bottles of Clear Eyes sold nationwide over contamination concerns.
Prestige Consumer Healthcare said the recall involves Clear Eyes Maximum Itchy Eye Relief due to a lack of assurance of sterility.
The eye drops are sold over the counter at pharmacies like CVS, Walgreens and other retailers like Amazon, Walmart, Dollar General and Target.

The recall applies to 15-milliliter bottles with an expiration date of Sept. 30, 2027.
Customers are urged not to use the eye drops and to return them to the store for a refund.
