GEORGIA (WALB) - The National Cotton Commission (NCC) is helping farmers understand new provisions in the 2025 Farm Bill. The NCC is hosting several meetings across Georgia to explain how the 2025 Farm Bill is impacting the cotton industry in the Peach State. These scheduled meetings are open to the public or any interested party.
The NCC will cover various new provisions in the 2025 Farm Bill that are vital to keeping farms operational and sustainable. Attendees can discuss farm operations and industry practices with experts, according to a release from the NCC.
Three meetings will be held in Southwest Georgia including Americus, Tifton and Bainbridge.

- September 8, 3:30 p.m.
- John Pope Technology Center
- South GA Tech, 900 S Georgia Tech Parkway
- Bainbridge
- September 9, 2:00 p.m.
- Kirbo Center
- 2500 E Shotwell Street
- Tifton
- September 9, 9:00 a.m.
- Tifton Conference Center
- 15 RDC Road
