Description

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — After splitting from President Donald Trump and announcing her upcoming resignation from Congress, Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is now engaged.

Greene will tie the knot with Brian Glenn, the White House correspondent for the right-leaning news organization Real America’s Voice. On Monday, Glenn posted a photo of the two embracing in a restaurant with the caption, “She said ‘yes.’”

“Happily ever after!!!” Greene responded.

Greene was formerly married to Perry Green for 27 years, but the two divorced in 2022. In April, Perry reached a $75,000 settlement with three Muslim women he was caught on camera verbally harassing at an Alpharetta shopping center.

Greene, who has represented Georgia’s 14th district since 2021, was once one of Trump’s most faithful allies. But after straying from party lines on some issues — most notably, the Epstein files — Trump denounced her as a traitor and “ranting Lunatic” on his social media platform, Truth Social.

In an exclusive interview with Atlanta News First, Greene called the president’s actions “shocking.”

“This isn’t the way that any president should lead his political party,” she said. “... I will make no apologies for standing with women who were raped. I think that’s the right thing to do, and I’m sticking with it.”

Greene also said she and her family have been subject to death threats following the president’s denouncement.

Greene’s last day in office is Jan. 5, 2026.
