LEE COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - A small brush fire broke out behind the Waffle House on Ledo Road Tuesday afternoon.
Chief of the Lee County Forestry Unit tells WALB that the area was being mowed when a lawn mower sparked the grass, igniting the fire. Only grass was damaged, and the fire was quickly contained.
Officials say the fire was reported around 12:26 p.m., and no injuries were reported.
