IRWIN COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - Traffic is detouring away from Little Brushy creek Bridge in Irwin County after a traffic accident.

The Little Brushy Creek bridge in Irwin County on state route 90 is closed until further notice according to the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT).

The bridge was damaged when a tractor struck the handrail and deck curb. The bridge was closed on March 18th for repairs. GDOT is unsure how long the repairs will take. Traffic is being detoured to State Route 11 and State Route 158.

The bridge is located in between NAS Dixson Road and Azalea Road. Its about four miles southeast of Ocilla.
