Description

BROXTON, Ga. (WALB) — A portion of Highway 441 at the south end of Broxton was briefly closed Friday after a spill involving chicken remains and processing waste, according to the Broxton Police Department.

According to police, a truck carrying chicken remains and processing waste was heading to Dublin on Friday, June 26.

While on the way to Dublin, there were spills in Jacksonville, Broxton, and in Dublin.

It took about four hours to clean up the spill.

Public Works and responding agencies cleaned the roadway and restored normal traffic flow, police said.
