CRISP COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - A woman is dead following a car accident in Crisp County.

According to the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office, there was a single-vehicle accident at about 1:20 p.m. on Tuesday.

The accident occurred on Cannon Road in Crisp County just north of Mile Pond Road.

Georgia State Patrol (GSP) identified the woman as 67-year-old Susan Boucher from Vienna. She experienced a medical episode.

During the episode, she went off the roadway and hit a tree.

GSP is investigating the crash.
