GRADY COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - Grady County Schools made a statement regarding the loss of one of its bus drivers.
On Tuesday, March 18, the school system posted the following statement to Facebook:
“Grady County Schools extends our deepest sympathies to family of Mr. Oliver Taylor. Mr. Taylor was a long-time bus driver for Grady County Schools. We were all very saddened to hear of his passing on Monday. Mr. Taylor also drove for the CHS girls basketball teams and many other groups through the years. He will be deeply missed by his students who rode his bus through those many years and the staff and faculty of Grady County Schools. May God Bless his family.”
Accrording to the school system, his services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Mt. Nebo Missionary Church in Cairo.
At this time, the cause of his death is unknown.
