TIFTON, Ga. (WALB) - Georgia U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff will be in Tifton Friday afternoon.

He is set to deliver historic Federal resources to strengthen Georgia’s agriculture.

The press conference is scheduled to begin around noon and it will be held at the University of Georgia’s Tifton campus, located at 2360 Rainwater Road.

3 million dollars is going to help establish a precision agriculture laboratory and an additional 1 million will upgrade the equipment and infrastructure.
