ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr is set to make a campaign stop in Albany on Monday as part of a statewide tour on the final day before Georgia’s primary election.

According to campaign officials, Carr and his wife, Joan Carr, will travel across several major Georgia cities throughout the day to meet with voters, members of the media and supporters.

The Albany stop is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. at the Albany Jet Center located at 3905 Newton Road.

Other campaign stops are planned in Columbus, Savannah, Macon, Augusta and Atlanta, where Carr is expected to conclude the day at DeKalb-Peachtree Airport.

Carr’s campaign says the tour is focused on sharing his message with voters ahead of Election Day as he continues his run for governor.

The primary election is set for Tuesday.
