CUTHBERT, Ga. (WALB) — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) is investigating a death in Cuthbert, officials confirmed Tuesday, Dec. 30.

WALB crews witnessed a large law enforcement presence at Bright Street and Laverne Street.

The circumstances of the death are unknown. No identifying information has been released about the deceased at this time.

The Cuthbert Police Department (CPD) said they were also unable to release any details about this case, as it has been taken over by the GBI.
