ATLANTA, Ga. — A former Atlanta youth minister has been arrested as part of a multi-state investigation into his alleged child abuse.

Jeffrey Taylor, a 66-year-old from Ohio, faces charges of enticement of minors for illegal sexual activity and traveling with the intent to engage in illegal sexual activity with minors.

Taylor is accused of abusing young boys from 1990 until at least 2008, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for East Virginia said. His arrest stems from his time at The Falls Church in northern Virginia, where he worked as a youth leader from 1990 to 2002.

Taylor allegedly molested multiple boys, including during ministry trips to other states and countries.

The attorney’s office said Taylor is also accused of grooming and sexually abusing a boy while he served at two Atlanta-area churches.

Now, prosecutors are looking for more potential victims. Anyone who was abused by Taylor or has information is asked to contact the FBI Washington Field Office at this link.
