ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Former Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Rondale Moore has died at the age of 25, according to multiple reports.
New Albany police chief Todd Bailey told reporters Saturday that Moore was found in a garage with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Moore’s most productive NFL season came in his third year with the Arizona Cardinals — his only full professional campaign — when he totaled 530 yards from scrimmage and scored two touchdowns. The standout at Purdue finished his time in Arizona with 1,450 total yards and four touchdowns.

In March 2024, Moore was traded to the Atlanta Falcons in exchange for quarterback Desmond Ridder. He was placed on season-ending injured reserve that August after suffering a knee injury early in training camp. The following March, he signed with the Minnesota Vikings, but another preseason knee injury ended his season before it began.
