Description
FITZGERALD, Ga. (WALB) — A traffic stop on Feb. 18 led to the arrest of a suspect and the discovery of drugs, firearms and drones at a Fitzgerald home, according to detectives.
Following the arrest, detectives obtained a search warrant for the suspect’s home. The search turned up 58 grams of cocaine, 109 grams of marijuana, a firearm and a large amount of money.

Eight drones were also recovered during the search. Detectives believe the suspect used the drones to drop drugs into correctional facilities.
The suspect’s name is not being released at this time. They are facing charges of trafficking cocaine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine and marijuana, and other felony charges.
