MONDAY-FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY: Highs will reach near 100 and heat index values over 110. Heat Advisories are in effect until 8pm. An isolated thunderstorm is possible, but otherwise it will be mostly sunny.

TUESDAY: FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY: Tomorrow will be about the same with a slightly better rain chance. An Extreme Heat Warning is planned to go in effect for Echols Co. from 11am-8pm. It can possibly be expanded to our other southern communities. Area-wide Heat Advisories will return.

WEDNESDAY: A cold front from the north A pretty significant drop in the humidity is expected. It will still be hot with highs near 100, but heat indices 105 or less.

THURSDAY: The humidity and the FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY returns Thursday. High temperatures reach near 100 and heat indices back near 110.

FRIDAY: Scattered afternoon strong storms are expected to break the heat wave. Heavy downpours and gusty winds will be possible.

WEEKEND: Rain chances ease and temperatures return to near average by Sunday.
