ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Another cold night is on tap as lows fall into the 40s. Along with a warming trend look for fantastic fall weather Friday through the weekend into next week. Enjoy wall to wall sunshine as highs rise low-mid 70s then upper 70s and back into the 80s. Lows not as cold Saturday and Sunday but still chilly upper 40s then mid-upper 50s for seasonably cool mornings.

Drier air wins out which keeps rain away. SGA remains drought free following significant rain last month from Helene.

In the tropics, there’re 2 areas of disturbed weather that the NHC continues to monitor. Invest 94L is in the central Atlantic with a low 30% chance of developing. Strong upper level winds will further development although heavy rain likely over the northern Leewards and westward including Puerto Rico. In the western Caribbean, Invest 94 L has a low 30% chance of developing. Whether it does or not it’ll be a heavy producer for portions of Central America and Mexico.

Hurricane season beginning to slow down with just about a month and a half before the official end on November 30th.
