ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The U.S. Department of Agriculture says egg prices are falling.

A new report from the department shows outbreaks of the avian flu have slowed over the past two weeks.

The agency also said prices for trucklot quantities of large white shell eggs have decreased by a $1.20 to an average cost of $6.85.

It comes just weeks ahead of Easter and Passover celebrations when many buy even more eggs.
