ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - One driver died on Wednesday, Oct. 15 after hitting a semi-truck from behind on GA 3, the Georgia State Patrol (GSP) has confirmed.
The crash was at about 7:45 a.m. on GA 3, south of Goodwin Road, GSP said.
Officials said that a semi was crossing GA 3 to make a left turn. Another vehicle reportedly failed to yield to the semi and struck its rear axle.
The driver of the vehicle that struck the semi was pronounced dead on the scene of the crash, according to GSP.
