(TNND) — The conclusion of jury selection in Sean "Diddy" Combs' racketeering and sex trafficking trial was pushed to Monday, The Associated Press reported.

Combs faces federal charges in a Manhattan courtroom over allegations that the hip-hop star used his business empire to control and sexually abuse and exploit women.

Prosecutors accuse Combs of sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice.

He’s accused of forcing women to engage in frequent, days-long sexual activity with male commercial sex workers that he called “Freak Offs."

Combs and his lawyers say he's innocent and that any group sex was consensual.

Several accusers are expected to testify at the trial.

Dozens of potential jurors have been questioned to determine if they can be fair and impartial.

Attorneys are examining potential jurors’ knowledge of the case, experience with sexual assault or domestic violence, and views on law enforcement and hip-hop artists.

The AP reported that the defense team asked for a delay in finalizing jury selection.

The remaining parts of jury selection are expected to take about an hour, with opening arguments beginning soon after that wraps.

Combs faces a minimum sentence of 15 years in prison and a maximum sentence of life in prison if convicted on all charges.
