ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — Dougherty County Sheriff Terron Hayes and Capt. Ronnie Nelson extended an invitation to the Albany and Dougherty County community to attend this year’s “Building Unity in the Community” event.
The Dougherty County Sheriff’s Office has hosted the event for 17 years. In 2025, attendance ranged from 500 to 800 people.
This year’s event will include a community cookout, an artesian market and other community partners.
