ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The Dougherty County Police Department (DCPD) is requesting the public’s help in identifying two suspects involved in an armed robbery.

On Saturday, Nov. 22, around 8:12 p.m., officers were called to the Pitt Stop convenience store located at 3225 Sylvester Highway after receiving reports of an armed robbery.

Officers say that when the suspects arrived at the store, they forced a man who was leaving the store back into the store and robbed him, taking an unknown amount of cash and his wallet. It was also reported that one suspect went behind the counter and stole cash from the register.

Images captured from the store show one suspect wearing a gray Nike hoodie; investigators noted that the suspect appears to be around 6 feet 4 inches tall.

No injuries were reported, and officials say that both suspects were masked during the incident.
