THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WALB) - City of Thomasville contractors will soon begin work on the Remington Avenue Streetscape Project.

The work will start on Monday, May 19, according to the city.

The project will improve road conditions and address water, stormwater, and wastewater improvements. It includes Remington Avenue between Reid Street and East Pinetree Boulevard.

During the opening days of the project, the city advises that drivers may see crews developing equipment staging areas and beginning initial preparation stages.
