GRADY COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - The Grady County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) announced today, April 2, they arrested a man on child exploitation charges.

Timothy Bentley, a man from Cairo, was arrested for charges relating to the possession of child pornography and child sexual abuse material, officials said.

The GCSO said this arrest comes after an investigation by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

After deputies conducted a search warrant, Bentley turned himself in.

No further details have been released, and the sheriff’s office said this is still an active investigation.
