ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - A sanitary sewer overflow occurred on Dec 30 near Albany State University due to a broken force main.
At this time, officials say that an undetermined amount of wastewater was released into the Flint River.
Crews were immediately dispatched to the site to stem the flow and repair the line.
