Description
PEARSON, Ga. (WALB) – The City of Pearson has issued a Boil Water Advisory for all residents and businesses, effective immediately, following a recent water line issue.
As a precautionary measure, city officials urge all residents to boil water for at least one full minute before using it for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, making ice, or washing dishes. Alternatively, bottled water is recommended during this time.
The advisory will remain in effect until further notice. City officials emphasized that the public will be notified as soon as the advisory is lifted.
“We appreciate the community’s cooperation and understanding as we work to ensure public health and safety,” a city statement read.
For additional information or questions, residents are encouraged to contact City Hall at (912) 422-3397.
